Taking Back Reality From Feminism -- the First Step

Feminist words (including the dictionary definition of feminism), can never tell us what feminism objectively IS. Such words can shed light upon the question only when they are taken in context with empirical observation. But they will never answer the question, because it is not in the feminist interest that the true character of feminism be revealed. So if you merely consult one feminist after another in your quest to know "what is feminism?", you will be led deeper and deeper into the maze of feminist subjectivism, and further and further from the truth.

Accordingly, it is a cardinal mistake to begin your quest for knowledge from a set of feminist precepts or presumptions. This will serve only to fix your understanding, at the outset, within a feminist frame of reference, and your subsequent learning will be constrained by what you have already taken on board. Thereafter, each stage of growth will build the wall of feminist understanding higher and thicker, progressively insulating you from the wealth of non-feminist reality checks which the rest of the world can provide.

In the end, you will find yourself trapped in a finite bubble of cognition. You may call this a worldview, a social construct, a narrative, an intellectual gravity-well, or simply a paradigm. Whatever you call it, it is the proverbial "box" outside of which we are so commonly instructed to think. Well I would urge you never to get inside that box in the first place, so that you will never even stop thinking outside of it! But if you are already in there, or if you simply feel "boxed in" by people around you who overwhelmingly talk and act in a certain way, then I would urge you to take the only step that will do you any good at all. I mean that you should break out of that box in one shattering burst. Stand in front of the mirror, gaze hard and long into your own eyes, and say to yourself:

"I am not a feminist."

You should say it like you mean it, with absolutely no inner uncertainty that you mean it. Do so, and you will have wiped the slate clean. From that moment forward, the future is what you make it. A long journey stretches ahead of you, but your feet are finally on the road. So give yourself that gift, and understand that nobody can take it away from you. It's yours to keep, forever -- but it was always yours anyway! You just needed somebody like me to give you a little reminder nudge.

Hey, what can I say? It's a service I provide!
