The feminist YouTuber Sael Palani recently posted the following brittle, snotty-sounding video in response to the #BJ4Equality campaign initiated by Dan Perrins. The video is pure snark-and-sneer, delivered in a horrid New York City accent at ear-raping pitch, like a bandsaw. For the love of Sweet Jesus H. You will hear, only a short way into the video, that Sael Palani mentions Dan's article at AVfM. In her talk she makes the following claim about said article: "The article is about how the feminist gynocracy in Jamaica is murdering gay men. . ".
All right. I have read the Dan Perrins article in question five times, no less. And nowhere does Dannyboy come anywhere close to saying what Sael Palani says he is saying. Nowhere does he state, or even faintly imply, that any so-called feminist gynocracy is murdering gay men in Jamaica.
He. Does. Not. Say. Any. Such. Thing.
Not only is Sael Palani a lying feminist, she is a piss poor one. Anybody who bothers to read the AVfM article can see that her claim is invented out of whole cloth. As I say, she is a piss poor liar. But then, maybe she isn't really trying to fool anybody. Maybe she just reckons that her feminist peer group will nod along and agree that Dan Perrins says something about a feminist gynocracy murdering gay men in Jamaica -- even though he never says anything of the kind. New Challenges| A Life Update
Although I have been posting quite regularly, I feel like I haven't actually been putting much of "me" in my blog spots recently, and I think a lot of that is down to the change that has been going on in my life recently.
If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you may have noticed me mentioning a new job... and this is where this post is coming from. I had not even been looking for a job, however I've learnt through life that you have to grab opportunities when they come your way and that's what I did. Matt had seen on Twitter a job being advertised that he knew I would love at a company that was just around the corner from where he works, rather than my current place of work which is 60 miles away. I went for the job interview and was successful.
There have been a lot of changes taking place over the past few weeks. Only 3 weeks ago I was living and working in Kendal in the Lake District in a job that I enjoyed with a company who I am ever thankful to, managing all their marketing and online activities, and now only 3 weeks later my apartment is on the market, I start my new job in a matter of days and Matt and I need to find somewhere to live in Lancashire... otherwise we'll be homeless.
I am extremely excited to start my new job as I know I am going to be challenged, have new opportunities and will love it plus I will have the chance to work with bloggers which is always fun! However I am a little sad to leave my old work behind, after making such good friends with my colleagues, and I am a little anxious about having to find somewhere to live so quickly, especially in an area I have never even really visited before... never mind know! Plus I HATE moving house as I get very stressed and anxious... so I have that to look forward to.
But life is for living and for grabbing opportunities, and that’s exactly what I’m doing. So starting Wednesday I will be working in a new company, in a new job position, will be looking for a new home, in an area Matt and I don't really know. But I do know I'm excited!
We will miss the friends and family that we will be leaving behind, but are ready to see what the next few years bring down in Lancashire. It's only down the road... as I keep saying to my mum who is going to miss me like mad... it's not like I'm moving back to France. But I am actually excited about being unsettled for a while... not knowing what is coming around the corner fills you with anticipation.
I'm ready for my next challenge in life.
Swedish GT: JB Motorsport Audi R8 LMS wins again at Anderstorp

Round four of the Swedish GT is being held at Anderstorp this weekend. The JB Motorsport team has continued their unbeaten winning streak with the #4 Audi R8 LMS.
Jan Brunstedt has been victorious in all of the Swedish GT races this year. At Anderstorp he is joined by Christer Lindholm, who also joined Brunstedt during round two of the championship at Mantorp Park in May.
They got the weekend off to a great start by taking pole position for the first race held on Saturday. The pole was then converted into another great victory for the JB Motorsport team, seeing Jan Brunstedt extending his overall championship lead even further.
The second race is set for tomorrow, and we wish the best of luck to the JB squad to continue their unbeaten run in 2013.

FIA GT: Pole position for Belgian Audi Club Team WRT at Slovakia Ring

The FIA GT Series is in Slovakia this weekend, hosted at the Slovakia Ring. Only four Audi R8 LMS ultra cars are entered in this fourth meeting of the season. Phoenix Racing decided not to enter the event, however the qualifying session gave Audi great satisfaction.
Belgian Audi Club Team WRT took a fantastic pole position today. For this meeting the team decided to race with the 2012 specification Audi R8 LMS ultra, to take advantage of the different 2012 vs 2013 specification BoP. It was a good decision as WRT was among the fastest during the sessions. In the end it was René Rast who was the fastest in Super Pole, driving the #12 Audi R8 LMS ultra. The three-time Porsche Supercup champion is sharing the car with Niki Mayr-Melnhof. Another car from team WRT also did very well, the #11 R8 LMS ultra of Laurens Vanthoor and Stépahne Ortelli. The series points leaders ended in fourth place, behind the two Sebastien Loeb Racing McLaren MP4-12C cars.
The two remaining Audi R8 LMS ultra cars were outside of the top 10. The #13 car of Frank Stippler and Edward Sandström from Belgian Audi Club Team WRT, and the #14 Audi from Team Novadriver driven by Carlos Viera and Cesar Campanico.
The Qualifying and Championship Races are set for tomorrow, with live stream coverage offered on the official FIA GT Series website.

Round seven of the DTM is thus something like a home round for the Spaniard – and on Sunday the 24-year-old will be tackling it from grid position three as the best Audi driver.
As is often the case in the DTM, thousandths of a second made the crucial difference about moving on to the next segment of the four-part qualifying session. This truth was brought home as well to leader of the standings Mike Rockenfeller, who in the Schaeffler Audi RS 5 DTM of Audi Sport Team Phoenix set the best time in the first segment but in the second one missed the leap into the top ten by a razor-thin margin of 0.007 seconds. Thus, ‘Rocky’ will be starting from position eleven, one place behind his fiercest rival in the battle for the title, BMW driver Bruno Spengler.

Alongside Molina, Edoardo Mortara in the Playboy Audi RS 5 DTM of Audi Sport Team Rosberg will be tackling the race from the second row as well. The Italian who lives in Geneva was quick in all four qualifying segments.
With Mattias Ekström in the Red Bull Audi RS 5 DTM of Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline on grid position nine, drivers of all three Audi factory teams made it into the top ten. Ekström’s team-mate Jamie Green in Q3 felt obstructed by Mercedes driver Gary Paffett and will start alongside Rockenfeller from the sixth row on Sunday.
Timo Scheider’s string of misfortune continued at the Nürburgring. In free practice, a technical defect activated the fire extinguisher of his AUTO TEST Audi RS 5 DTM. Due to a problem with the fuel tank system Scheider at the end of Q1 only had a single lap, which ended in traffic and grid position 18.
“We’ve been able to continue our string of being the only manufacturer to have had at least one car on the two front rows of the grid in all races – and here we’ve even got two,” said Dieter Gass, Head of DTM at Audi Sport. “Qualifying was as close as usual, the conditions kept changing slightly, depending on the position of the clouds. So that meant a bit of fortune was necessary as well. ‘Rocky’ unfortunately didn’t have it in Q2. Starting from position eleven tomorrow won’t make things easy for him. But Bruno (Spengler) and Gary (Paffett), his two fiercest rivals in the battle for the title, aren’t at the very front either. I’m particularly happy for Miguel (Molina) and Edo (Mortara): Both have had a difficult season so far and will have the chance of finishing on the podium tomorrow.”

FIA GT: WRT switches to 2012 spec Audi R8 LMS ultra

Belgian Audi Club Team WRT has switched back to the 2012 specification of the Audi R8 LMS ultra in Slovakia this weekend.
Balance of Performance has been the buzzword in recent weeks, as the R8 LMS ultra’s BoP has been scrutinised as being too harsh. Despite this the FIA announced this week that the R8 LMS ultra BoP would remain unchanged, despite the events at the Spa 24 Hours.
WRT are currently competing in round four of the FIA GT Series at the Slovakia Ring this weekend. They have opted to retrofit their cars with the 2012 R8 LMS ultra specification, thus defining them as 2012 models and the older car BoP. They have noted that the 2012 Audi BoP is less harsh than the current 2013 Audi BoP, thus it was a beneficial move which has paid handsome dividends so far.
The second Audi team at the event in Slovakia is Team Novadriver, who’s #14 Audi R8 LMS ultra has remained in 2013 specification. The third Audi team in the FIA GT Series, Phoenix Racing, unfortunately withdrew from the event - their press releases regarding the withdrawal can be seen HERE.

Super GT: Hitotsuyama Racing Audi qualified 12th at Suzuka

The Super GT is at Suzuka this weekend for the famous 1000 Km race, the longest and most prestigious event of the series. A single Audi R8 LMS ultra has been entered in the event from Hitotsuyama Racing.
The only Audi in the field is competing in the GT300 class. It has been a very hard season so far for the R8 LMS ultra in the Japanese series, with some mixed performances and results. At Suzuka the #21 ZENT Audi is shared by the team's two regular drivers Akihiro Tsuzuki and Richard Lyons. Unlike most of the other teams in GT300, who have opted for three-driver line-ups for this demanding event, Hitotsuyama Racing preferred to stay with only two drivers.
Akihiro Tsuzuki and Richard Lyons qualified the car in an improving twelfth place within GT300, out of twenty-three cars listed in the class. Race victory is clearly out of reach, but we hope that the Hitotsuyama Racing entry will be able to improve on track. With the race being a true endurance event and the Audi R8 LMS ultra being very reliable, the team's hopes for a good result are legitimate.
Pole position in the GT300 class went to the factory #61 Subaru BRZ. The #3 Nissan GT-R was second and the #50 Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 was third. The qualifying results can be seen here.

DTM: Audi domination in Nürburgring free practice session

The DTM is at the Nürburgring this weekend for the seventh round of the 2013 season. The free practice session, held this morning, was dominated by Audi with their Audi RS 5 DTM cars.
Seven Audi drivers were within the top 8, a remarkable achievement given the world class level in the German Touring Car Masters. Filipe Albuquerque was the fastest in the field, the Team Rosberg driver set a time of 1:23.491, enough to secure the first place. The Portuguese driver was followed by the series points leader Mike Rockenfeller. Rocky was only 0.003 seconds behind, the Phoenix Racing driver proving his very strong pace.
Adrien Tambay was fourth fastest and the best driver at Abt Sportsline. Miguel Molina, Rockenfeller's teammate at Phoenix Racing, was fifth. Timo Scheider (Abt Sportsline) was sixth, Edoardo Mortara (Team Rosberg) was seventh and Mattias Ekström (Abt Sportsline) was eighth. Jamie Green was outside of the top 10, the new comer at Audi Sport was only seventeenth.

And the shittiness will cover a full gamut of operations, with violence as an extreme possibility. None of this reaction will be pleasant, nor should it be. People who are treated in a shitty way have every right to respond in a shitty way. Shitty begets shitty. Shit bounces. This ought to be common sense.
I am simply telling you the ugly facts of the world. I did not create those facts, but I can surely predict that if certain conditions arise, then certain consequences - on average - will follow. And the best way to avoid such consequences is to choke the progression of cause-and-effect as far upstream as possible.
I share these thoughts with anybody who will listen, because I wish to avoid the worst. So if you do NOT wish to avoid the worst, feel free to disregard everything I say here and call me a "misogynist" or a "troll" or some other libellous name.

FIA GT: Phoenix duo Ide/Kumpen will not contest the FIA GT race at the Slovakia Ring

Phoenix Racing will not join the grid for the fourth round of the FIA GT Series on August 17/18 at Slovakia Ring with its Belgian driver pairing of Enzo Ide and Anthony Kumpen.
The team and drivers have decided to withdraw from the race at the Slovakia Ring close to Bratislava after the difficult 24-hour race at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, during which the Audi R8 LMS GT3 was heavily damaged in an accident in the closing stages of the race.
“It was plain to see at the Spa 24-hour race just how difficult things are currently. When we compete we also want to have the opportunity to fight for victory. This is not currently possible under normal circumstances. It goes without saying that the motivation also suffers, especially for our partners Enzo Ide and Anthony Kumpen. For this reason, we have decided not to race at the Slovakia Ring,” explains Phoenix Team Boss Ernst Moser.
The team and drivers will decide at a later date whether the #5 Phoenix Audi of Ide/Kumpen, who currently share eighth position in the standings after three rounds, will compete in the remaining FIA GT Series races at Navarra/Spain (September 28/29) and in Baku/Azerbaijan (October 19/20).

With instructions provided by Audi factory driver Mattias Ekström (35) he did five laps on the 3.629-kilometer sprint track of the Nürburgring. “And on used tires, he was running pretty fast,” commented the Swede on looking at the stop watch.

It’s nice that Audi is so strong this year. And thanks to DRS and option tires the races have become even more thrilling. I could definitely imagine driving in the DTM after the end of my rally career.”

Super GT | DTM: Japanese GT500 "DTM Compatible" cars revealed

Exciting new times lie ahead for the DTM and Japanese Super GT. The two championships will be running new similar-rules as from the beginning of 2014 - thus beginning a Germany vs Japan feature on the track in years to come.
The intentions of a common rules package was announced towards the end of 2012, with plans of integrating compatibility between the two championships from 2014 onward. This would allow cars from the German DTM to compete in Super GT GT500, and vice versa. Identical regulations are being envisioned for the two championships by 2017. Thus far the rules are not yet identical, as different engines are going to be used in Germany and Japan during 2014. The chassis' are compatible and the integrating compatibility of the two series has been set in motion and will be seen in full effect in the years to come.
Further intentions of establishing a North American based series utilizing the same rules from Germany and Japan is also on the cards.
The Suzuka 1000 km event is being held this weekend, as part of the Super GT. At the occasion Honda, Nissan and Lexus have all revealed their initial cars for the new 2014 “DTM Compatible" regulations.

Jari-Matti Latvala, Volkswagen Motorsport factory WRC driver, took victory at the 2013 Lahti Historic Rally. He was triumphant behind the wheel of an Audi quattro rally car.
The 2013 Lahti Historic Rally was held last weekend, with Latvala emerging the victor in the Audi quattro.
A new onboard video has been uploaded onto the official Jari-Matti Latvala YouTube Channel. The video features Latvala on Special Stage 5 of the Lahti Historic Rally, and also includes telemetry and two video angles. Enjoy this video as the WRC ace tames the quattro in Finland.

Australian GT: Video highlights from round 5 at Queensland Raceway

The fifth round of the Australian GT was held at Queensland Raceway. It was a consistent weekend for Melbourne Performance Centre and the two Audi cars.
The Skwirk / OneWorld Bar Audi R8 LMS ultra and the Equity-One Motorsports R8 LMS were both fielded in the fifth round.

The final round of the Australian GT Championship will be taking place at Highlands Motorsport Park in New Zealand.

Kansas City, KS (August 15, 2013) - The Fall-Line Motorsports GT program rolled into Kansas Speedway earlier this week with high expectations. With just two full events under their belts, the newly-formed Fall-Line GRAND-AM Audi R8 team will contest the SFP Grand Prix at the brand new road course configuration at the Kansas Speedway.
The Kansas track is a high-speed/low down-force track well suited for the R8. Fall-Line is hoping to better last month's top-ten finish at the Indy race which shares similar track performance properties to Kansas. Behind the wheel of the #46 Fall-Line Motorsports entry will be team owner Mark Boden along with his regular Continental Sports Car Challenge driver Bryan Sellers.
Bryan Sellers: "I am really looking forward to driving the Audi R8 GRAND-AM this weekend. Audi and Fall-Line Motorsports teamed together is a great combination. They have both come together with the same goal of having a competitive race package and I'm excited to play a role in it."
Mark Boden: "I am looking forward to my turn to get behind the wheel of our sweet new machine! It is always great to drive with Bryan (Sellers) and I am looking forward to seeing all of the hard work we put into the car the past few months to use. We know that this car had success at Daytona earlier this year so we are hopeful that we can expect similar success this weekend. No more whining about women, relationships and similar issues. No more mixing the personal with the political, the messenger with the message. Away with all of that.
This movement would need to form a very distinct identity and "brand", separate from MRM, MHRM, MGTOW, Masculinist, or any other currently popular label.
It would need to be done right. It would need to be airtight. This would involve a rather high level of discipline and esprit-de-corps, which in turn would require training.
A relatively small number of people, willing to embrace such a discipline, could bring social heat and pressure to bear upon feminism as a societal construct and social organism, and begin to effect a meltdown of it.

Fitness Friday| Simply Feet| Dr Andrew Weil Rhythm Shoes Review
As a girl who spends half of her time in her gym gear, I am always on the look out for cute new gym gear, so when Simply Feet contacted me about a month ago to ask whether I would be interested in trying their latest running shoes the Dr Andre Weil Rhythm Shoes*, I jumped at the chance!
I chose the very pretty coral and silver pair as if I’m working out and looking like a hideous sweaty monster then I may as well try and look cute! They arrived very quickly and I was very impressed with them on first impressions. On receiving them I noticed that their insoles are different to others trainers I have, so I looked into the science behind the Dr Weil trainers.
Simply Feet state that “the Dr Andrew Weil Rhythm Shoes restore your feet to their natural alignment. They are Podiatrist-designed, have removable biomechanical orthotic foot-bed, and feature a deep heel cup and arch support that stabilizes, supports and naturally re-aligns the feet. They have a rebound midsole to provide long-lasting cushioning and shock absorption.”
So basically these trainers are super supportive, help ensure your feet are correctly aligned at all times, and help prevent injuries that are caused by improper footwear. When I first tried them on they felt a little weird, as obviously I’m not used to that kind of support in my trainers, they really do cushion your feet so well! I persevered and took them for a spin at my bootcamp class as that it only and hour long, and Simply Feet recommend only wearing these trainers for a few hours for the first few days to allow your feet to adjust to the enhance support.
Everyone complimented me on my new cute trainers when at bootcamp, so that’s always great! When I first started running in them they again felt a little odd, but again it’s because I’m not used to that level of support. After a few sprints across the park I soon became comfortable with my new trainers and have been wearing them regularly since. I really am enjoying the comfort they give me and feel like they give me an extra spring in my step when I’m out running.

Balance of Performance unchanged - the Audi R8 LMS ultra remains strongly penalized

The FIA has decided that there will be no changes regarding the Balance of Performance (BoP) of the Audi R8 LMS ultra, this following what happened at the 2013 Spa 24 Hours.
Therefore Audi's chances to retain the Blancpain Endurance Series titles at the Nürburgring season finale are very slim. It will be a tough challenge for the Audi teams at the final round. It is clear that the R8 LMS ultra is strongly penalized compared to the other brand’s cars.
