Is It True That Women Don't Lie?
Is it true that women don't lie? Mind you, I am not saying that women DO lie! I am making no claim about women at all, whatsoever, in any form. I am only posing a question for consideration. Others may resolve this in their own minds, if they feel inclined to do so.
Also, you may wish to read the following news story in the UK Daily Mail, in which it is claimed that a woman lied, specifically about sexual assault by a cab driver who just happened to have a recording device operating during the time in which the allegedly false story allegedly transpired. Mind you, I am not saying that this woman actually lied, or anything like that. I am just saying that she is alleged to have done so by a news story to which I am now directing your attention. But this is not to imply that I truly believe that women ever lie, under any condition, about sexual assault or anything else. After all, feminism has taught us for many years that we must always "believe the woman" and "trust women", and so forth . . . and so we surely must! Isn't that right?

By Johan Laubscher

The next three GMG Racing Audi R8 LMS cars finished together in the standings, placing in positions seven through nine, with Alex Welch, Duncan Ende and Bill Ziegler respectively.
Race two spoils went to the factory Cadillac team, who enjoyed an 1-2 finish with Johnny O'Connell leading home his GM teammate Andy Pilgrim.

GT Tour: Fourth place for Sainteloc Racing Audi in Val de Vienne race 1
By Tarek Ramchani
Val de Vienne is the home of the third French GT-Tour meeting this season. Four Audi R8 LMS ultra cars are entered in the event, from Sainteloc Racing and Team Speed Car.
Race 1 has already been held this afternoon, after a very strong qualifying session earlier today. The Sainteloc Racing #42 Audi R8 LMS ultra, shared by Gregory Guilvert and David Hallyday, finished fourth. Both drivers battled really well on track, all race long, against the McLaren MP4-12C cars. Guilvert was hit by bad luck, whilst fighting for third place the McLaren in front of him, from Sebastien Loeb Racing, had a puncture, the Audi avoided it but let another McLaren from ART Grand Prix through. Overall it was an impressive race with good pace from the leading Audi car in the French GT series.
Bad luck also hit the single Audi R8 LMS ultra entry from Team Speed Car. Dino Lunardi ended in the gravel trap, whilst running in a strong sixth position with only a few laps before the checkered flag. The #36 Audi ended in fourteenth position. The other two Sainteloc Racing Audi cars were further down the order. The #83 R8 LMS ultra in seventeenth place and the #82 Audi was nineteenth.
Race victory went to the #16 Ferrari 458 GT3 from Sofrev ASP. Second the #27 Ferrari 458 GT3 from Sport Garage. Third the #12 McLaren MP4-12C from ART Grand Prix.
Race 2 is set for tomorrow. Best of luck for both Audi teams and their drivers.

By Tarek Ramchani
The FIA GT Series resumes this weekend at Zandvoort in the Netherlands, round 3 of the championship. Five Audi R8 LMS ultra cars have been entered from three different teams with very strong performance in the Qualifying Race today.
It was a brilliant victory for Belgian Audi Club Team WRT. The #11 Audi R8 LMS ultra of Stépahne Ortelli and Laurens Vanthoor was victorious after the 1-hour sprint race, following a battle to the finish line with the #1 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 from HTP. In third was the sister #12 Audi R8 LMS ultra shared by Rene Rast and Niki Mayr-Melnhof. The third #13 Audi R8 LMS ultra from the team finished in a strong fourth, in the hands of Frank Stippler and Edward Sandström.
Further back the Portuguese Audi R8 LMS ultra of Team Novadriver finished eleventh overall, fourth in the Pro Am class. The #14 car was driven by Cesar Campanico and Carlos Viera. The #5 Audi R8 LMS ultra from Phoenix Racing finished in twelfth position. The German run Audi was shared by Anthony Kumpen and Enzo Ide.
A fantastic qualifying race for the Audi Sport customer racing teams at Zandvoort. The main Championship Race is set for tomorrow, with the starting grid being based by the final results from the Qualifying Race today. Fingers crossed for all the three Audi teams and their drivers.

Audi R8 LMS Cup: Cheng Congfu debut further adds to strong cup line-up
Audi R8 LMS Cup Press Release
Beijing, July 5th, 2013 – The teams of the Audi R8 LMS Cup will be heading to Ordos in Northern China from July 5 to 7 for rounds three and four of the 2013 cup season. Joining the field for the first time will be Chinese racing sensation “Franky” Cheng Congfu. Cheng completed the famous 24 Hours race of Le Mans in June and brings ten years of global racing experience to the competition.
"The addition of Cheng Congfu further increases the high level of competition in the Audi R8 LMS Cup. Our series provides a leading platform for the best racing professionals in China and Asia. I expect two very tight races in Ordos", says Rene Koneberg, Head of the Audi R8 LMS Cup.
Ordos International Circuit will bring a new set of challenges for the field of top professional and ambitious amateur drivers. Although 0.6 kilometer shorter in distance than last race weekend’s Zhuhai circuit, the track presents drivers with a greater number of high-speed corners and overtaking opportunities. Unpredictable weather and occasional sand storms add additional challenges.
2012’s overall champion Marchy Lee, will be looking to get his season back on track, as he travels to Ordos as fourth overall. Leading the standings is Alex Yoong from Malaysia, ahead of Adderly Fong from Hong Kong. Chinese driver Sun Zheng will be hoping that his recent British Formula Three podium finish can inspire him to make further inroads. Swiss racer Rahel Frey, who joined the cup this year from the German Touring Car Masters, DTM, will be seeking to build upon her spirited debut last time out.
In Zhuhai in May, the leading drivers were able to clock quicker lap times than in 2012, underlining the efforts by Audi engineers in optimizing the engine mapping and aerodynamics of this year’s cup version of the Audi GT3 race car.
The Audi R8 LMS Cup is the first Audi one-make series in the world. Following its successful premiere in China in 2012, the series expands across Asia in 2013, with additional races in South Korea, Malaysia, and Macau. The number of Audi R8 LMS race cars has increased from last year’s 16 to at least 20. With the thrilling series, the brand with the four rings gives motorsport in Asia another exhilarating boost. The cup is comprised of six race weekends in 2013, and competing for the first time are Audi teams from South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Last time out in Zhuhai saw Alex Yoong take the checkered flag in the first race with a scintillating drive, followed closely by Adderly Fong, and 2012 champion Marchy Lee. In the second race, guest driver André Couto capped a dominate performance, adding 1st place to the pole position he had secured in the qualifying session earlier in the weekend.
Alongside the overall classification for the 2013 R8 LMS Cup, there are also categories for amateurs and teams. In addition, an independent dealer class has been introduced this year, as part of the close cooperation of the cup with the Audi Joint-Venture FAW-Volkswagen in China. China has become the single largest market of Audi. In 2012 Audi made the significant milestone of delivering 400,000 units to Chinese customers in one year.

Pirelli World Challenge: Positive race 1 for Audi teams at Lime Rock
By Tarek Ramchani
Lime Rock Park hosted the first Pirelli World Challenge race of the weekend earlier today . The GMG Racing Audi drivers did well in a very action packed race.
Four Audi R8 LMS cars have been entered, all of them from GMG Racing. The race performances were a lot better than those from the qualifying session. After titanic battles on track, Duncan Ende finished in a very strong fourth place with this #24 Audi R8 LMS. Ende could have finished even better without the late safety car. The full course yellow, just minutes before the finish, broke his impressive pace when he was chasing the Cadillac CTS-Vs for third place. Behind Ende was the series point leader and team co-owner, James Sofronas, who finished sixth. The remaining two Audis of Alex Welch and Bill Ziegler were further back, finishing tenth and eleventh respectively.
It was a hard comeback for Don Istook and his Audi TT RS in the GTS class, but it is great to see him back behind the wheel of a race car.
The overall race win went to Mike Skeen with his privateer Chevrolet Corvette, right ahead of the Cadillac duo, Andy Prilgrim and Johnny O'Connell.
The second race is set for tomorrow. We wish the best of luck for all the Audi drivers.

DTM: Eager anticipation of DTM home round at Norisring
Audi Press Release
- Audi driver Mike Rockenfeller travels to Nuremberg as leader of the standings
- Newcomer Jamie Green with best Norisring tally of all drivers
- Le Mans record winner Tom Kristensen supports Audi team
Ingolstadt/Nuremberg, July 5, 2013 – A full grandstand made of stone, thousands of Audi flags and a unique atmosphere between the Dutzendteich lake and the paddock: The entire Audi team is looking forward to the DTM home round with eager anticipation. With a strong performance by the whole squad the drivers and teams are aiming to bring Audi’s first victory at the Norisring since 2002 home to Ingolstadt.
Only 75 kilometers, as the crow flies, separate the Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt and the race track in the heart of Nuremberg. Accordingly, there is a large fan community of employees and followers who support the Audi line-up year after year. In 2013, the Audi Sport Teams Abt Sportsline, Phoenix and Rosberg are leaving no stone unturned to give the ‘Audians’ a good reason to celebrate on Sunday.
The last Audi victory at the Norisring was clinched by Laurent Aiello in June 2002. His duel with DTM record champion Bernd Schneider across the entire race distance of 44 laps back then is still regarded as one of the most spectacular races in DTM history and ended in an advantage of 0.197 seconds. Although Mattias Ekström and Timo Scheider mounted the podium six times since then, another victory has not been clinched there to date. Newcomer Jamie Green is bringing four triumphs to the squad at the only city street race on the DTM calendar. The Briton won in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012, thus acquiring the nickname ‘Mister Norisring.’

The Briton won in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012, thus acquiring the nickname ‘Mister Norisring.’
The Audi squad will be enjoying prominent support in a spirit of friendship by Tom Kristensen. The Le Mans record winner, who just won the legendary 24-hour race in France for the ninth time, is visiting his brand colleagues at the Norisring. Kristensen himself competed in the DTM from 2004 to 2009 and finished all of his six races in Nuremberg in the top eight. On the weekend, the Dane will be driving his Le Mans winning car, the Audi R18 e-tron quattro, across the race track for a few demo laps.
Tickets for all DTM races of the 2013 season are available at www.audi-motorsport.com/dtm. Fans in many countries of the world can watch qualifying and the race live on the DTM’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/dtmint live. A total of 39 TV channels air live DTM coverage in 141 countries.
In Germany, as usual, ARD will broadcast live on “Das Erste:” Qualifying on Saturday (July 13) starting at 14:30, the race on Sunday (July 14) starting at 13:15.
Dieter Gass (Head of DTM): “It’s a nice feeling to travel to the Norisring as the leader of the standings. All the fans and employees who support us on location always make a race there very special for us, so my wish is for us to be able to clinch the corresponding, positive result. I’m not only focused on Jamie (Green) with his past Norisring victories in this respect. We’ve got a strong team in general and will try and get as many of our guys as possible to the far front of the field.”
Hans-Jürgen Abt (Team Director Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline): “For us as a Bavarian team, the race at the Norisring naturally is the pinnacle of the season. Our strong wish is to finally give something back to all the fans and supporters. With Jamie (Green) in the team we’ve got a proven Norisring expert in our ranks who may be able to give our squad the crucial impulse in the right direction.”
Ernst Moser (Team Director Audi Sport Team Phoenix): “With Mike (Rockenfeller) we’re traveling to the Norisring as the leader of the standings. Audi’s big aim for years has been to finally win here again – and that’s our big aim again this weekend. We know that in terms of speed we’ve got what it takes to do so.”
Arno Zensen (Team Director Audi Sport Team Rosberg): “The summer break was long enough. Our whole squad is now looking forward to the round in the ‘German Monaco.’ If it were up to me, Edo (Mortara) or Filipe (Albuquerque) would be the drivers to end Audi’s long barren spell there.”
Facts and quotes by the Audi drivers
Filipe Albuquerque (28/P), Audi Financial Services RS 5 DTM #6 (Audi Sport Team Rosberg)
• Contested a round of the GRAND-AM Series in the Audi R8 during the break
• Is competing in his third DTM season in the same team with the same team-mate
“While in 2012 I often finished in the points the 2013 season has been disappointing for me so far. No matter where I start from – I always end up at the far rear. We’re going to give everything to make sure this will soon change again. The Norisring is a very unusual track – so it may be a good venue for the tables to turn.”
Mattias Ekström (34/S), Red Bull Audi RS 5 DTM #11 (Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline)
• Was on podium at the Norisring five times before
• Is celebrating his 35th birthday on race Sunday
“My aim is victory. Following a strong qualifying performance, winning the race again for the first time in many years was in our hands last year. But after the first lap of the race it was all over due to a collision. That’s why I’d like to repeat the Saturday this year and am wishing for a smooth race on Sunday. I’m very much looking forward to the Norisring.”
Jamie Green (31/GB), Red Bull Audi RS 5 DTM #12 (Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline)
• Won at the Norisring in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012
• At the Lausitzring, scored his first points as an Audi driver
“The characteristics of the Norisrings can’t be compared with any other race track. That’s why it’s difficult to make a prediction about the relative strengths. Naturally, I’ve got a special relationship with this race. But even though I’ve won there four times that’s no guarantee for anything – especially not in the DTM. Before and on the weekend, I’ll be working just as hard as always, prepare myself and set up the car.”
Miguel Molina (24/E), Audi RS 5 DTM #20 (Audi Sport Team Phoenix)
• Will be advertising the 2013 Audi Cup again on his Audi RS 5 DTM
• Is increasingly improving his German due to his second residence in Adenau
“It’s been a long time that Audi has won this race. We’re going to give everything to be successful at the home round. We know that we can do it. But we must try and put all the pieces of the puzzle together on a single weekend. We had a bit of time to take a breather and are now traveling to the Norisring with top motivation.”
Edoardo Mortara (26/F/I), Playboy Audi RS 5 DTM #5 (Audi Sport Team Rosberg)
• With his victories in Macau, is regarded as an expert for city street circuits
• Contested a round of the GRAND-AM Series in the Audi R8
“After a personally successful season in 2012, it’s hard now having to battle for each single point. At the Lausitzring, we took a step in the right direction. Now I’m hoping for us to be able to continue this way at the Norisring.”
Mike Rockenfeller (29/D), Schaeffler Audi RS 5 DTM #19 (Audi Sport Team Phoenix)
• Is traveling to the Norisring as the leader of the standings with the same points score as Bruno Spengler
• Is the only Audi driver to have won a race in the 2013 season so far
“As the only city street circuit on the calendar, the Norisring is something very special. We’ve got a lot of fans there who keep their fingers crossed for us every year. I’m hoping that we’ll finally be able to live up to their expectations. Mercedes-Benz has traditionally been very strong in Nuremberg but this time the cards have been reshuffled, also thanks to the option tires and DRS. We’re not necessarily the favorites, but we’re going to attack.”
Timo Scheider (34/D), AUTO TEST Audi RS 5 DTM #23 (Audi Sport Team Abt)
• On a visit to Moscow during the summer break, promoted the DTM race there
• Won the Audi Sailing Cup with his race engineer Markus Michelberger
“It’s almost incredible that at the Norisring we’re already at the season’s mid-point. I’m looking forward to the race, to the atmosphere between the narrow grandstands and above all to the many Audi fans who are supporting us. We’re traveling to Nuremberg with optimism and are going to give everything to clinch an Audi victory.”
Adrien Tambay (22/F), Audi ultra RS 5 DTM #24 (Audi Sport Team Abt)
• Has only run once before in a DTM car at the Norisring
• Just barely missed scoring his first point in the 2013 season at the Lausitzring
“I’m looking forward to the Norisring because it’s not comparable with other race tracks. Before the DTM, I drove there in other racing categories. Even though I scored no points, I had good races at Spielberg and at the Lausitzring. Now the next step can follow: a good race and points!”

2012 flashback: Disappointment for Audi at home round
Following extreme heat on both days of practice and qualifying completely different conditions of rainy weather and cooler temperatures prevailed in Nuremberg on race day, which caused a major commotion right in the first turn. Mattias Ekström was pushed from behind into the car in front and had to park his Red Bull Audi A5 DTM, which had been the fastest Audi during the whole weekend, right after the first lap with a heavily damaged front end. Mike Rockenfeller was one of the few Audi drivers to make it through turn one unharmed but, due to a jammed wheel nut, lost valuable time at the first pit stop and in sixth place was ultimately the best Audi driver.

Jamie Green about the Norisring: “On my first Norisring run I took two pole positions in Formula 3 and in the DTM I’ve won four times in front of this great crowd that always completely fills the grandstand at the start and finish. So obviously I’m getting along quite well there, despite the fact that the Norisring is a pretty strange track that isn’t the most enjoyable one to drive on. There are tracks and turns that are more fun. At the Norisring, it’s mainly about braking, slow turns and driving with little downforce in a way we don’t normally do in the DTM. Because there are only straights and slow turns you can follow the car in front of you more closely than in other DTM races and that’s why duels there are better than in other DTM races.”

Pirelli World Challenge: Mixed qualifying for Audi teams at Lime Rock
By Tarek Ramchani
The Pirelli World Challenge is moving to the North East this weekend. The popular Lime Rock Park is hosting the fifth meeting of the season.
Four Audi R8 LMS cars have been entered for the event, all of them from GMG Racing.
The qualifying session was held yesterday with some mixed results for the Audi and GMG squad. The best ranked R8 LMS car was in fifth place, with #24 Audi of Duncan Ende. Team owner and series points leader James Sofronas was sixth in his #14 car. The other two R8 LMS cars were tenth with Alex Welch in the #08 Audi and eleventh with Bill Ziegler, who is debuting with the R8 LMS this weekend, driving the #95 Audi.
It was an all-GM affair in the qualifying session. The factory Cadillac CTS-Vs were first and second, with Johnny O'Connel and Andy Pilgrim. Third was Mike Skeen with a Chevrolet Corvette.
Before the Lime Rock races James Sofronas was leading the overall points standing with 849 points. Cadillac's Johnny O'Connell is second with 703 points. Volvo's Randy Pobst is third with 675 points. In the manufacturer's standing Audi and Cadillac are leading with 52 points each. Volvo is third with 41 points.
In the GTS class it is great to see the Audi TT RS back in the competition. American Audi legend, Don Istook, is back after health issues, armed again with his Stasis/Revo backed #01 Audi TT RS. Don Istook qualified twentieth in class. The qualifying session results can be seen here.
Two WC races are on the program at Lime Rock Park. We hope that both GMG Racing in GT and Don Istook in GTS will do well on track.

Radfems v. TRULY Radfems
A radical feminist conference was scheduled to be held at the Beaver Hall Gallery in Toronto, from July 5 to July 7. Evidently, the Beaver Hall people got wind of who they were hosting, and kiboshed it. To my knowledge, no pro-male activists were instrumental in this. Apparently, it's the trans-friendly "truly radical feminist movements" who get the credit here. Well....huzzah! Two cheers for them!
Go to the Beaver Hall Gallery Facebook page to read more comments in the same vein:
https://www.facebook.com/beaverhallgallery
We don't know if the Radfems booked another venue on the fly or not, but if not, then maybe they can have their meetup in a public park or something?
But it's interesting to observe how "not all radical feminists are like that". (NARFALT!) Mind you, not that I'm wickedly impressed. When I consider how horrible so many moderate mainstream feminists are, I'm apt to conclude that the "truly radical feminists" are just slightly less bad, in a slightly different way, than the hardcore radfems whom they kicked out of the conference hall. Yes, I'll say it again: there are only two kinds of feminist -- bad, and less bad! So let's not waste our time sorting them out any more than we need to, although I must confess that I don't always practice what I preach here!

Fitness Friday|The Difference Between Good and Bad Carbs
Carbs are a funny little thing aren’t they. So much confusion over one element of our diets. I have been asked a multitude of times “ What carbs should I eat and which one’s should I not” “Should I not eat carbs at all?” etc. So thought it was about time I did a blog post to help with all the confusion I see. Now I’m not a nutritionist so can’t offer expert advice, but I found the above images helpful and think that they summarize the difference between good and bad carbs in a clear and concise way.
Personally on a typical day I try to avoid simple carbs, my biggest issue is with bread. As much as I love it, it really doesn't agree with me as it makes me bloat so much. You will never find a loaf of bread in my kitchen unless it has been bought for a special occasion. I know many people who don’t eat carbs at all because they find it difficult to digest, so they don’t eat any bread, pasta, rice, or wheat.
The above images also explain why many adopt a carb free diet when they want to drop weight quickly because carbs are more difficult to digest. Carbohydrate foods are also higher in calories because they are our biggest source of energy. So if you stop eating carbs you will automatically reduce the number of calories you eat unless you replace them all with protein, which is lower in calories. Carbohydrate-free diets are very restrictive, so ideally you should instead just chose your carbs wisely. Replace refined white grains with healthier choices such as brown rice and whole wheat bread.
How do you feel about carbs? Are they something you avoid? Do they confuse you?

Happy Independence Day! :-) (To all those celebrating, and to all those fortunate enough to be independent and free)
We hope that everyone in the U.S. who is celebrating is having a wonderful day! That said, today we also are thinking of the many millions of people globally who are enslaved, especially vulnerable women and children in the sex trade, and we hope that you will not forget about them. We hope that you’ll do everything that you can from here on out to help them become free and independent also —
The Message is the Thing
The non-feminist message is everything, and the messenger is nothing. Personal attributes of the messenger are not be considered in the processing of the message. To conflate the messenger with the message, is to conflate the personal with the political -- a form of feminist aggression. It is, furthermore, off-topic.
Neither the concrete personality of the messenger, nor the messenger's supposed membership in some putative "group", may be considered in the processing of the non-feminist message. Given that both of these items may be classed as personal attributes, it is not permitted to factor them into the plain intention of any words the message might contain.
Hence, to make the messenger's concrete personality a point of discussion is an invalid procedure, a violation of protocol, and a form of feminist aggression.
Likewise, to address the messenger as "you people" or "you guys", or any but the correct individual appellative, is an invalid procedure, a violation of protocol, and a form of feminist aggression.
All violation of the principles sketched above, will be added to feminism's karmic demerit points. All feminists will be held collectively accountable.

Male Human Rights in Cleveland
The following signal has arrived from Aoirthoir An Broc of the Masculinists -- a non-MRA and non-MGTOW denomination, by the way. I share this information for all who would find it of use. The 'Cleveland' referred to, is Cleveland, Ohio, USA:
"I want to let everyone know and remind all Men's Organizations, that I will be hosting at least two information booths on Mens Human Rights. One will be at Cleveland Pagan Pride Aug 24/25 and the other will be at The Holistic Health and Healing Expo Oct 9/10. For the first event I am also the Master of Ceremonies and for the second I will lead the drumming circles. I have had great success in finding allies among these events thus this year they accepted my request for a booth. I will also be hosting at least 2 workshops on the same issues at Pagan Pride and perhaps one or two at the Expo. I am sending out a request for all Men's Groups that would like me to distribute fliers for their associations, groups, websites or whatever, to please contact me so that I can go over details with them. The fliers can be anything the group wishes. In addition we will have as a focus a petition that no rape victim should ever have to pay his rapist child support. We expect many signatures. If your organization would like fliers representing you included in this please contact me. Please spread the word. 440.941.3396. Kind Regards."
BES: Audi R8 LMS ultra topped the Spa 24 Hours Test Day
By Johan Laubscher
The Spa 24 Hours is the next big 24 Hour race on the schedule for 2013. It will be round four and the annual highlight of the Blancpain Endurance Series. Audi has won the race on the two previous occasions, with WRT in 2011 and Phoenix Racing in 2013. The preparations for the 2013 edition have started well with an Audi topping the time sheets at the Test Day.
Seven Audi R8 LMS ultra cars took part in the Test Day which was held on Wednesday, 3 July. Belgian Audi Club Team WRT, Phoenix Racing, United Autosports and "Audi AG" (Audi Sport customer racing) all fielded cars on the day.
Seven Audi R8 LMS ultra cars took part in the Test Day which was held on Wednesday, 3 July. Belgian Audi Club Team WRT, Phoenix Racing, United Autosports and "Audi AG" (Audi Sport customer racing) all fielded cars on the day.
The Test Day was split into two sessions, the first held from 09:00-12:00 and the second from 13:00-18:00, on a day which proved to be cold and wet.
Three Audis placed within the top ten during the first morning session. The highest Audi was the #1 driven by Stéphane Ortelli, Laurens Vanthoor and Rene Rast, who finished with the fifth fastest time. The focus then switched to the second afternoon session which saw the fastest overall laps of the day. This time a total of four Audis were inside the top ten, including an Audi on top of the time sheets. The #13 WRT Audi R8 LMS ultra topped the day as the only car to drop below the 2 minute 37 second barrier, with a fastest time of 2:36.887.
Test Day results for any 24 Hour race are often mostly academic, as testing is a far cry from an actual 24 hours race. A total of over seventy GT3 cars will be taking part in the race this year, including the top GT3 teams in Europe, so it will be very competitive. But it is great to see the Audi cars currently showing good pace at Spa. The race itself is scheduled for the weekend of 27-28 July.
With no factory Audi teams at Spa this year, it will be up to the Audi Sport customer racing teams to defend the Audi race wins at the Spa 24, where it could possibly be three wins in a row this year.

Super Taikyu: 2004 Le Mans winner Seiji Ara tests Audi R8 LMS ultra at Twin Ring Motegi
By Johan Laubscher
Nova Engineering took part in a test session at Twin Ring Motegi today. The test forms part of the team's preparation for round three of the Japanese Super Taikyu Endurance Championship. The big news was the addition of 2004 Le Mans winner, Seiji Ara.
Seiji Ara was part of the three-year Audi Sport Japan Team Goh project at Le Mans, which was highlighted by a Le Mans victory in 2004, when Ara won in an Audi R8 alongside Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen.
The test at Twin Ring Motegi today included Ara testing the team's 2013 Audi R8 LMS ultra. This is by no means Ara's first experience with the R8 LMS. He has once previously raced an Audi R8 LMS, when he competed for WRT at the 2011 Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race, at Sepang in Malaysia.
The final driver line-up has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to see this Audi at round three of the Super Taikyu. The last time an Audi competed in this championship was during 2011 when Hitotsuyama Racing fielded a single R8 LMS entry. Nova Engineering has been included on the 2013 Super Taikyu season entry list since the beginning of the year, but this is the first appearance of the team in the series so far during 2013.
The third round of the Super Taikyu will take place at Twin Ring Motegi on the weekend of 20-21 July.
