Reality Snapshot: Women Count

Women, as a demographic sub-group, have a large array of forces, services, entities, government offices, special programs, lobbying groups and so on, working for their benefit. To give you just a small taste of this, I will send you to the Twitter page of an organization called "Women Count". When you get there, you will discover quite a list of pointers to all manner of things which tend to boost the female interest in one way or another. I find it intriguing that in a society which "oppresses women" (as feminism assures us), there is so much energy mobilized in the service of women's needs and interests. So far, I have discovered no comparable apparatus serving male needs and interests, and yet feminism assures us that women are oppressed. Well as everybody knows, I am a connoisseur of irony. I savor it like wine!
