You can't read it here, but the wheelchair-bound "Jerry Futrelle" is holding a sign that reads: "Re-think Sexual Values". That is a vacuous, open-ended statement which means little or nothing, but I am sure that 99% of all people would agree if they could fill in the blank with the exact "sexual values" which they thought needed re-thinking. Anyhow, hairy dumpling is telling our dapper Dan that he is not interested in hearing the facts -- said facts being statistics about domestic violence, from the CDC, which Dan is holding on paper behind his back.
Dan filled me in on quite a few details about his day. Seems it was rather tame. There were no big red flare-ups, but there were some highlights. For one, Dan conversed for maybe ten minutes with Jeff Perera, one of the honchos from the anti-male White Ribbon Campaign. It was a tense ten minutes, and Mr. Perera declined to do an interview and declined to be videotaped -- although he WAS audio taped. (Some time ago, Dan talked on the phone to one of Mr. Perera's underlings, and the dude told a whopping lie which Dan exposed for public consideration -- and Perera was none too happy about this!)
Dannyboy attended the event with three confederates, so the non-feminist presence totalled four. They staked out about thirty feet of sidewalk in front of the Hamilton city hall, made this their protest space, and spent their time fielding conversations from a variety of people.
Dan tells me that the number of pro-male sympathizers is considerable, as is the number of converts he is making.
At event's end, Dannyboy and crew went for a beer at a tavern called "The Honest Lawyer."
