Pirelli World Challenge: DragonSpeed testing their Audi R8 LMS ultra at COTA

The 2013 season may be drawing to a close, but many of the teams are already hard at work ahead of 2014. DragonSpeed was out testing their Audi R8 LMS ultra at COTA this week.

DragonSpeed, the first and only North American team to acquire an Audi R8 LMS ultra, was at the Circuit of The Americas this week, conducting test sessions with their Audi. The team competed in a handful of races with the car this year, including the Pirelli World Challenge at Sonoma. Their Audi R8 LMS ultra was seen testing in its base carbon fibre finish at COTA.

DragonSpeed has announced their intention to be competing in the 2014 Pirelli World Challenge season, when FIA GT3 cars will be allowed in their full GT3 aerodynamic specification.

It is always great to see the teams working hard in the off-season. Now the long wait begins for 2014.
