Men's Rights Edmonton Hits the Streets in Calgary

I am told that the Men's Right Calgary group has been officially launched - although we are still waiting for the website to go live. The MRE guys made a trip to Calgary to sort of inaugurate the MRC group, but while they were there, they did a whole lot of postering along one of Calgary's main thoroughfares. What's even more interesting is that they very quickly caught the attention of the CBC - who contacted MRE with questions, and also contacted AVFM. So far, I don't know what if any coverage the CBC plans to give this.

MRE will also be present at the "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" parade, tomorrow I think, in Edmonton. They will be unveiling a high-production message banner on a display stand. The banner was designed, I am told, by TyphonBlue. They will also be distributing information about domestic violence against men - which, as you know, happens with the same frequency as domestic violence against women. Needless to say, the "Walk-a-Mile" people will lie about that, and tell you that women overwhelmingly take the brunt of it. This is hardly surprising, since it is what feminists - and people under feminist influence - tend to do quite a bit. Lie.

At about the same time - way off to the east, in Hamilton, Ontario - Dan "Dannyboy" Perrins will be covering the "Take Back the Night" parade. Dan tells me that Jeb will be there too, and might even serve as camera dog! ;-)
