Walk-a-Mile Day in Edmonton

I just finished up a 2-hour chat with Eric Duckman, which included all manner of "off-topic" topics. Only toward the end did it occur to us to discuss the "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" ritual male humiliation event that was recently held in Edmonton. Yes, Men's Rights Edmonton was present - and since they were present last year also, it was their second appearance. This year, the crew totalled six persons, two of whom were middle-aged women.  (GirlWritesWhat apparently had other commitments.) As Eric described it, they stationed themselves strategically and unfurled the following banner, which TyphonBlue had designed.  The dimensions are roughly 6.5 ft x 3.5 ft, and it was supported on a tripod stand. You may click it to enlarge it.
As you see, the banner says "Walk a mile in her shoes? Walk 200 in his." It depicts a man trudging across the bleak Canadian snow barrens, leaving spatters of blood as he goes along, in search of the nearest domestic violence refuge that will accept men. As we all know, women perpetrate domestic violence at the same rate men do, and yet the feminist liars are still spreading the story that men commit 95% of it in order to "exercise patriarchal power and control over women." That lie is harder to kill than Rasputin, wouldn't you say? Will the lying feminists EVER stop spreading that lie, if people like us don't loudly and harshly humiliate them until they shut the fuck up? No. They will NEVER stop spreading their lies until they are very rudely obligated to do so! And that is why we must be rude. If we would truly help men, we must keep up the social heat and pressure on feminism, which is the root of most of the evils presently afflicting men. Holding hands with the "nice" feminists and singing "kum-ba-ya" is not the recipe, my friends! If they will come to the table for negotiation, in a spirit of apology, that is a different matter. Then we will talk terms of co-existence.

Eric reports that a number of people approached the MRE group and thanked them for being there. Eric also told me that while the self-betraying men were doing the customary "perp walk" around Churchill Square in their high heels, he marched directly past them in his sandwich board and made unwavering eye contact - which, due to shame, they avoided. While Eric was walking and looking the chumps in the eye, the middle-aged women flanked him on both sides, handing out informational flyers to the public.

Eric predicts that there will be NO flurry of media coverage for this most recent MRE action. In a political sense, they can't really "make hay" from it. There is no controversial flash-point aspect about this, as there was with the "Don't be THAT Girl" poster campaign - that is, no way to spin the message against MRE. Hence, to publicize it would fail a political cost-benefit analysis from their point of view. Furthermore, as Eric expressed it, "the borg has adapted."  They are getting wise to our methods and not taking the bait as previously. That is indeed wise of them, seeing how it has backfired on them in the past. However, the good news for us is that they have gone into the "ebb" phase of the ebb-flow cycle, which means they have yielded a bit of ground in which we may operate with less hindrance and expand our message.

Plenty of good video footage was taken, and when this has been edited, it will be posted. Stay tuned.
